Baywatch Actress and David Hasselhoff’s Ex-Wife Pamela Bach Dies by Suicide
Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff, actress and former wife of David Hasselhoff, has passed away at the age of 62.
She was found dead in her Los Angeles home on Wednesday, March 5. According to the Los Angeles Medical Examiner, her death was ruled a suicide from a gunshot wound to the head. TMZ, which first reported the news, stated that her family had not heard from her and went to check on her before discovering her passing.
Pamela was married to David Hasselhoff from 1989 to 2006, and they share two daughters, Taylor, 34, and Hayley, 32. Her Instagram was filled with heartfelt posts about her daughters and her grandchild. Taylor, who married Madison Fiore in February 2023, welcomed a daughter, London, in August.
In a statement to PEOPLE, a representative for David Hasselhoff said:
"Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time."
