LOS ANGELES (AP) – Pamela Bach, actress and former wife of Baywatch star David Hasselhoff, has passed away at the age of 62.

The Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed she died on Wednesday, March 5, ruling her death a suicide. Also known as Pamela Hasselhoff, she was known for her roles on The Young and the Restless and Baywatch and met Hasselhoff on the set of his hit series Knight Rider.

Bach and Hasselhoff married in December 1989 and had two daughters, Taylor and Hayley. Their 2006 divorce was highly publicized, with Bach accusing Hasselhoff of domestic abuse—a claim he denied. Their split also made headlines when a video surfaced of Hasselhoff in a drunken state eating a burger, leading to a temporary loss of visitation rights with his daughters. However, those privileges were reinstated after two weeks.

A request for comment from David Hasselhoff’s representative has not yet been returned.
